Intro of Silence

“Acrobats of Silence” were founded by Charalambos Pavlides and Zoi Konstantatou in 1999 in Volos. The group is consisted of people who develop activities in the fields of arts, youth exchanges and in the minority groups support, aiming at bringing young people in contact with culture, art and creativity. Under this scope, “Acrobats of Silence” organize artistic workshops, seminars and other activities in local level, take part in international youth exhanges and international festivals, and cooperate with organizations and groups all over the world.

“Acrobats of Silence” activate also in the field of cultural management by creating and promoting theatre performances for schools and artistic events.

“Acrobats of Silence” have taken part in European exchanges.

In September 2006 we were pleased to organize our first festival in Volos followed by the 2nd festival last August 2007.
Next years festival will take place in Portaria Magnisias including more than 40 performers. Our organization is funded only by “Youth in Action” Programme in cooperation with the National Agency of Greece.
